my process
My creative process begins with a feeling, memory, place or story that continues to hold my attention. I rarely begin with a fixed outcome. Instead, I allow the work to develop through observation, experimentation and an ongoing conversation with the materials.
How the work comes to life
My process is intuitive, exploratory and closely connected to place, memory and feeling. Each work begins with curiosity and develops through observation, experimentation and reflection.
I move between watercolour, acrylic, sculpture, photography and time-based art, allowing each medium to guide the direction of the work.

Observe
Each piece begins by listening—to a landscape, a memory, a personal experience or a story that deserves space. I gather photographs, words, colours, sounds and small details that help define the emotional direction of the work.
I observe the world around me, the people, the places and the nature. I bring my observations into my practice and sometimes collect with materials that carry their own history and character. The material is not simply a tool; it often becomes part of the meaning.

Through sketching, painting, constructing and testing, I create and experiment how the idea wants to take form. I work intuitively, allowing unexpected marks, textures and changes to influence the final piece. This stage is often layered, physical and experimental.
Reflect
connect
Step back, observe and make changes as the meaning and form of the piece become clearer.
The process is complete when the work creates an opportunity for connection. I want each piece to invite viewers to pause, reflect and bring their own experiences into what they see, hear or feel.
