Waterfall

Inspired by the waterfalls and forested landscapes of British Columbia’s Fraser Valley, Waterfall captures the movement and atmosphere of water as it travels through the landscape. Loose washes, layered colour, and expressive brushwork create a sense of motion while allowing the natural qualities of watercolour to remain visible.

The piece reflects my interest in the places we encounter outdoors and the impressions they leave behind, not as exact representations, but as moments remembered through colour, movement, and feeling.
